   Dorothy Malachowski – President

Mrs. Malachowski is an owner and the Finance Executive Officer of Midway Grinding Inc.  She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Gift from the Heart Foundation since 1990.

 

 

 

  Ewa Lechowicz - Secretary

Mrs. Lechowicz has been involved in Foundation life from the very beginning; she is the Board member  since 1990

 

 

 

 

  Izabela Rybak - Treasurer

In 1987 Ms. Rybak started a charitable work that in 1988 became the Gift from the Heart / Dar Serca Foundation; original founder of Dar Serca

 

 

 

 

Eva Betka - Director

Polish American activist and retired Commissioner, Illinois Human Rights Commission Member

 

 

 

  Waldemar Czerpak  - Director

Mr. Czerpak is the owner of the W4S Construction Inc.  As a GC he played an instrumental role in the construction of the Gift from The Heart Foundation’s Children Center in Schiller Park.

 

 

 

  Bogna Iwanowska-Solak - Director

Mrs. Iwanowska-Solak is the President of Oak Mill Bakery, a wholesale and retail bakery established in 1986. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish-American Association, and the Board of Directors of the The Paderewski Symphony Orchestra.  She enjoys traveling and art collecting.

 

 

 

  Marek Jezuit - Director

Mr. Jezuit played an instrumental role in the construction of the Foundation’s Children Center in Schiller Park and is involved in all Foundation’s projects as an executive volunteer

 

 

 

  Zbigniew Karas - Director

Mr. Karas is the President of  the U.S. Financial Ltd.  He has been an active supporter of the Gift from the Heart Foundation for many years.

 

 

 

 

  Edward Krawczyk - Director

Businessman, founder of the MAK Foundation

 

 

 

    

J. Krzywon     Zdzisław Krzywoń - Director; Businessman, CNR Group – NYC

 

  Grażyna Maneykowski - Director

Archer Gold Jewelry,  Mrs. Maneykowski has been active with the Foundation from the beginning.

 

 

 

  Anna Piotrowska – Director

Ms. Piotrowska manages GFHF’s office since 1996

 

 

 

  Rysia Skirucha - Director

Mrs. Skirucha has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Foundation for many years.  She is actively involved in many Foundation’s events and fundraising actions.

 

 

 

Junior Board

 

Joanna ZelayaJoanna Zelaya - President

Mrs. Zelaya is responsible for the development and strategic vision of the Junior Board and is the main liaison to the Senior Board. She is the CEO of Chicago Precision, Inc., a manufacture to print machine shop in the Chicagoland area. Her love for volunteering started in 2000, when she served as a US Peace Corps Small Business Enterprise Development Volunteer in Cameroon, Africa.

 

 

Andrzej Wolosewicz - Treasurer

Mr. Wolosewicz is responsible for the financial records of the Dar Serca Junior Board activities. He brings 10+ years of Program Management experience at a Fortune 100 company. Mr. Wolosewicz also currently serves on the District 106 Education Foundation Board and the AYSO Region 300 Board as a Division Coordinator

 

 

Kinga LitwiniukKinga Litwiniuk – Vice President

Ms. Litwiniuk  received her Bachelor’s Degree in Italian and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and works as a business strategy consulting analyst in global markets. She also has extensive experience in project management and sales and marketing.

 

 

Anna KrupkaAnna Krupka – Vice President

Anna Krupka is a co-Vice President of the Dar Serca Junior Board. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from DePaul University. She has over nine years of experience in financial analysis and capital investment planning in commercial real estate.

 

 

Katarzyna Klimek - Secretary

Ms. Klimek brings with her 10 years of general management, marketing and distribution experience at a Fortune 500 company. She is excited to apply her experience in the corporate world to ensure the Jr. Board is smoothly progressing in all its endeavors.

 

Barbara Limanowka Barbara Limanowka – Social Media Director

Ms. Limanowka has the social media responsibility on the Jr. Board; she brings 10+ years of experience in Financial Management in the private and public sector of the transportation industry. Ms.
Limanowka also serves as an ambassador at her current workplace. She likes the outdoors, was a 2009 Marathon runner and practices daily yoga. She enjoys volunteering with a passion to help children.

Executive Committee

 

Agnieszka Schwietert – works as a financial and accounting consultant at Huron Consulting Group. Her industry focus is banking, but she has also worked with various not-for-profits to improve operational and financial performance. She served on the boards of Young Professionals of Chicago and CARPLS and continues to be involved as a mentor through DePaul’s Alumni Association.
